Product Design Intern

Coinbase is hiring a Product Design Intern for a 12-week internship during summer 2027. You will be embedded on a product team solving real design problems across core products including the Coinbase app, Prime and Coinbase Wallet. You will own a product design project end to end with coaching from an intern manager, partner with researchers, designers, product managers and engineers to define user needs and validate directions, present in design critiques, build high-fidelity prototypes in Figma, and collaborate with engineers to ship front-end changes using AI-assisted coding tools. You should be able to use design tools such as Figma or Cursor to create user flows, wireframes or visual designs, shown in a portfolio or project samples, have completed at least one end-to-end design project (academic, personal or professional), and have basic familiarity with crypto concepts.
